This project started with a simple question: “What does the library of the 21st century look like?” The answer: the library of the future needs to be more than just a home for books.

This eight-story, 209,504 SF addition and renovation to the chemistry building was a huge undertaking by Strang and the University of Wisconsin – Madison to bring this vital education facility up to date.
