As an architect, Alec considers the client an integral part of the design team. He serves to listen, understands, and unite each of the client’s need with the architectural concept. His passion for design at many scales creates architecture with a dynamic, multi-sensory interface between people and the built environment. As Director of Design Synchronicity, Alec guides Strang’s collaborative effort to bring both aesthetic vision and functional performance to all clients. For each unique project, he embraces innovative working strategies and harnesses multidisciplinary efficiencies as needed to best incorporate the client’s vision and process into the design.
Interests
Outside of work, Alec enjoys challenging his body through kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, and running. He engages his mind with cooking, playing music, and creating multi-media art.
