A Season for Giving

Happy Holidays from all of us at Strang!

It’s the season of giving and this year, we’re asking you to join us and donate to some of our favorite local non-profit organizations. We want to highlight the amazing work these organizations do and help spread some holiday cheer their way.

Find out more about each of the organizations below and click on their respective links to donate.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County has operated under the belief that “inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.” BBBS makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in the Dane County community. Their work develops positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Since 1975, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Milwaukee has been changing children’s lives by matching them with caring adult mentors to guide them on a path to success. When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today’s youth face a variety of challenges. A Mentor can help them navigate these challenges so they can reach their full potential.
Available 24/7, 365 days a year, Hebron Housing Services is dedicated to ending homelessness. They are the oldest non-profit organization in Waukesha fully dedicated to providing emergency, short-term shelter, and long-term housing solutions to individuals and families. Hebron House is actively seeking help during this time of crisis. Gifts are needed to expand bed space, pay staff, obtain supplies, and deliver hot meals to the shelters.

The goal of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County is to lead the way in youth development programs by working together with local businesses, foundations, and community programs to produce positive outcomes for nearly 7,750 young people and their families. Their work ensures that their members have a safe place to be, meals to eat, and programming to help them learn, thrive, and reach their fullest potential.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee offers unique programming that inspires thousands of youth daily. With safe places to learn and play, positive role models, and educational programming, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee have helped local kids and teens thrive for 133 years and counting.

The Urban League of Greater Madison works to ensure that African Americans and other community members are educated, employed, and empowered to live well, advance professionally, and contribute to the common good. Their free services help to empower our community and change lives!

YOUR GENEROSITY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THANK YOU FOR ANY GIFT YOU GIVE!
