What’s New? | March Recap

March has been quite the month!

To start off, we would like to thank our clients, staff, and community members for their on-going cooperation and hard work during this time.

See how we're working from our home offices below!

Strang is proud to have won not just one, but TWO In Business Magazine 2020 Commercial Awards. Last week, Northern Sky Theater Creative Center & Gould Theater and The Sylvee received Commercial Design Awards for Best New Development or Renovation in the Retail and Restaurant or Bar categories.

In honor of International Women's Day and #WomensHistoryMonth, we wanted to take an opportunity to highlight Sarah Phillips' work in the Madison community and with the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. As Director at Large of the MMOCA Volunteers Board, Sarah works to support the museum through being a community ambassador and encouraging members of the community to help fulfill MMOCA's mission.

Strang was joined by members of the UW-Madison chapter of Engineers without Borders! Engineers without Borders seeks to build a better world through educating internationally-responsible engineers and students, while providing engineering and social services to under-served communities in Wisconsin and around the world. We loved learning about their projects in Puerto Rico and are excited to see what these future engineers accomplish!

Four Strang projects were honored with American Society of Interior Designers - ASID Wisconsin Chapter Design Excellence awards! The ASID WI Design Awards recognize high quality interior design in projects from ASID Wisconsin members. We're honored that Summit Credit Union Headquarters and The Sylvee received Silver awards, and Summit Credit Union State Street Branch and our Strang Waukesha office received Bronze recognition.

We are happy to share that The Sylvee was voted gold and silver for Best Live Music Venue and Best Performance Venue in the Best of Madison 2020 Readers Poll by Madison Magazine. Thank you to all who voted!
