Strang Designer Earns Architectural License
Alec Hembree Certified To Practice In Wisconsin.
Alec Hembree has been certified as an architect in the State of Wisconsin.
MADISON, September 27, 2018 – Alec Hembree, a Senior Architectural Designer at Strang, Inc., has been certified as an architect in the State of Wisconsin.
Hembree, who has worked at Strang for four years, earned his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Syracuse University in 2014. He earned the rank of architect after passing a series of tests through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and fulfilling more than 3,700 hours of work in six categories of architecture from project management to construction and evaluation.
“It’s always exciting to see hard work pay off for someone in the way it has for Alec,” said Strang President & CEO Larry Barton. “He’s a valuable member of our design team and we’re happy to see him earn his certification.”
Hembree has worked on numerous laboratory projects and as well as Northern Sky Theater in Door County, WI, Summit Credit Union Headquarters in Cottage Grove, WI, and Strang’s new office space in downtown Madison, WI.
He plans to pursue his NCARB certification next which will pave the way for architectural certification in other states.
