Susan has over 15 years of accounting experience including in-house payroll, 1099 and 1042 tax reporting, cash management, ACH pre-notes and payments, and international payments using foreign exchange transactions. She is skilled in cost accounting for architectural design and construction projects and fund accounting for multi-million-dollar contracts. Susan’s role also involves accounting systems analysis, GL maintenance, financial statement preparation, ad-hoc analysis reporting, and stock price calculation. She has worked in a variety of industries including professional services, publishing, construction, governmental, marketing, and non-profit. Her forte and favorite part of was she does is working with Excel.
Sue’s interests also include medical writing, as she has previously worked as a research assistant for various psychology studies, and as an undergraduate independent cetacean researcher with bottlenose dolphins. Sue also writes cetacean literary fiction (she has written three novels with a fourth in the works), under the moniker S. Amaranthine, cooking, golf and hanging out with family and friends.
